“Bute” is a commonly used nickname for phenylbutazone, which is a veterinary medicine that can result in a number of side effects, especially when used long-term or in high doses. Phenylbutazone side effects can impact a horse’s gastrointestinal health, cardiovascular health, blood and bone marrow, kidney and liver, neurological and psychological well-being, and more. NoBute does not contain phenylbutazone. Suggested daily intake: For horses and ponies up to 14.2hh, use up to 20ml per day, repeat as necessary.
